Biological sex is not a static reality. Scholars have spent decades pointing out how assuming a sex binary is not only wrong but also unethical as it erases the lives of those who are embodied differently. Courts should not give effect to “common sense” when such sense is unethical and unscientific.

Our team is recruiting a PhD scholar for our ARC Discovery research project on news media and diversity, focusing on experiences of marginalised workers, including Indigenous, LGBTIQA+ and disabled individuals.

Rather timely -- in ways we hoped it wouldn't be!
