Ace Frehley was a major influence for many guitarists, including myself. If it wasn't for Ace I may never have picked up a guitar in the first place. As a young lad of only 9 seeing Ace playing on the Midnight Special cemented it for me. Rest in peace Ace, you will be missed.

Went out to Jackfish Lake this evening. It was lovely getting out, the heat had lessened and the bugs were being cooperative. The boaters on the other hand not so much.
I could learn to like the lake life, if only I could afford it.

Went out to test out the Canon EF 16mm f2.8 on my R5 and have some observations. It's built cheap, but the optical quality is pretty good considering it's $399 (CAN). Distortion and vignetting are massive when uncorrected. Overall 3/5. #canon #canonr5 #blackandwhite #sunflower #yeg #edmonton #flower
