An addition to this list for ACA enrollees: consider opting OUT of auto-enrollment today to avoid a gigantic monthly premium on your account for 2026. It is important to take a look at your plan this year and see if the costs are within your budget. Many enrollees are on auto-reenrollment.

This is a good story, except for the important piece we have to keep centered about the need for negotiations around healthcare. 170,000 in SC have affordable, quality healthcare thanks to enhanced premium tax credits that are expiring.

USDA can act today to make sure millions of families receive their SNAP benefits on time. Delaying action means children, parents, veterans, people with disabilities, and older adults go without food. There is no reason for families to wait.
