The goal is fear. The problem is they are little men who hide behind the military/ICE and are unable to actually face the American people in person. Do not be afraid.

If the LGBTQIA+ community confuses, baffles, and/or scares you, I challenge you to talk with at least 1 of them this month. Try to forget about the labels and meet them at a human level. You may have more in common with them than you currently realize.

Categorizing people is the problem. Everyone has multiple identities that make them who they are and any one characteristic does not and should not completely define them. Trans women are women and I look forward to the day when we can collectively agree on that.
