Sometimes on here I'll write up a whole big long rant about something that's been annoying me, edit it down, really refine it and.... Look at it, go "ehhhhhh" and delete. Either this is all a very good and grounding way of keeping perspective, or else I've simply realised I'm terribly boring.

I've been watching via tracking as my new FFXIV Cookbook gets shuttled back and forth between two towns in California for like six days now. These towns are roughly 15 minutes apart according to Google Maps. DHL, why do you always suck so fucking much.

My incredibly brave stance as someone who hasn't watched a new anime series in forever is that we need a new anime with a cool, pretty, tsun Elf lady in it. But also one that's actually well-written.

I'm going to regret this, but as someone who moved to the States only like 7 years ago, today I learned being called "little lady" can be either really sexist and insulting, or oddly endearing, depending entirely on the character, tone, and shape of the person saying it. (Usually just the former)
