i’ve been too sick to preorder marathon (i haven’t opened my computer in days) but i will do it. i think i’ll enjoy it in spite of the preset character thing. i still don’t think it makes sense on any level and i think the silhouette thing is nothing more than a lie. it’s clever, but it’s a lie.

this is the sort of thing i'm chasing with the movement verbs.
i want to explore along the left side of the pit, but the wall dissolving spell i'm using is ortho only. but if i spend an extra charge to get down onto this ledge on the right, i can dissolve the wall on the left and proceed.

I learned i could array.pick_random() rather than array[randi_range(0,array.size()-1)]. It's nice to find shortcuts (although it's about the same length).
