I helped write a disaster prep playbook once and the bottom line was: even if you think your disability (or the disability of a family member/friend/neighbor) is nbd during “normal” times, you need to think hard about how to survive without access to aids, electricity, water, medicine, etc.
A 67 year old amputee and wheelchair user lived with his son who had cerebral palsy.

They were killed in the Eaton fire while waiting for an ambulance that never arrived.

Many disabled people can not evacuate on their own. They need to be included in evacuation plans (yet almost never are)

A Man on the Inside is so fun. I’m also hoping that it exists because a kind soul secretly wanted to keep a terrific group of aging actors employed for insurance purposes. Win-win.
