Having left the EU, we're getting more and more isolated. With regards of what the US is currently inflicting on the rest of the world, how can we justify this?

It’s puzzling isn’t it, how a man who is incapable of spending all his money in his lifetime has decided to dedicate his life to making things as terrible as possible for those who haven’t a penny to rub together. What’s the motivation for that? Because there has to be a point where greed ends.

Excellent
Chris Philp, "I disagree with what Keir Starmer said, that people raising this issue are from the far right. That is an outrageous slur and a smear"

Cathy Newman, "He didn't quite say that.. And where were you, Kemi Badenoch, Robert Jenrick standing up for victims in parliament?"

The BBC has rightly been criticised for false equivalence in its reporting of Musk’s malevolent smears and the Government’s rebuttal. Below is an example of BBC journalism at its best. If only it did this consistently, across all platforms... www.bbc.com/news/article...
How Elon Musk seized on baseless memo claim to create wave of misinformation
The X owner shared false claims that a Home Office memo urged police not to intervene in child grooming cases.

So, I read that Labour wants a rapprochement with the EU, reconsidering trade, policing, and even youth movement issues. Allegedly. Yet today, all of this was vehemently denied. My European head is spinning.

When I left X, I left 260000ish followers who cared about the NHS.

This is bad because the NHS is in a state of emergency and EveryDoctor has just launched an important petition. If you can see this, please could you follow me and share this? 🤞💙🚨

Bluesky is brilliant for the Bylines Network. 🦋

So much better than X or Facebook. It doesn’t kill news links, the news mix is healthier here, and it’s an ideal environment for community-building.

Our citizen journalism is thriving here. Keep it up @bsky.app!

This quote by Plato is still relevant after more than 2,000 years:

"One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors."

~ Plato

This is what happens when millions of previous Democratic voters stay at home.

Has anybody else these overly sexualised accounts randomly following them? I never had this on Twitter, but quite a bit here. Would love advice, thanks.

Come on BBC, you can do better, please fact-check.
Big fact-check on lots of the immigration lies being amplified today by the usual grifters. Please boost.
Tim Stanley, in what now appears to be a weekly slot on one or other BBC flagship politics programme, reels off a huge amount of absolute, provable nonsense about immigration.

And he does so completely unchallenged. Enough now. ~AA
