Anti Capitalist/Anti Fascist/Anti Trump
Pinned
In an age of escalating crises, it's clear that our current system is unsustainable. Our planet and societies are being pushed to their limits by profit-driven capitalism. But there is hope.

Zia Yusuf wants a stage. @zackpolanski.bsky.social should not give him one. New post on why Reform challenges the Greens and not Labour, why the debate format is the trap, and what the letter actually reveals when you read it slowly.

New essay responding to @aycacu.bsky.social’s talk on campism and internationalism at Historical Materialism last year. I agree with much of her critique but try to push further on what a different practice might look like from Britain, and from within the Fourth International tradition.

The DHS cannot be trusted to investigate Alex Pretti’s death. Bringing in Homan changes nothing. This is a soft pivot before they launch ICE somewhere else.

Reform UK will do nothing to improve the economy. Deregulation on steroids. Worker protections ripped up. Their first budget, if they ever reach government, would be for the 1%.

This Farage/Braverman press conference is embarrassing. They claim Britain is broken but refuse to acknowledge their own people helped break it. Farage is an establishment lackey: fine dining and cigars after dinner. Man of the people my arse.

The line between the Conservatives and Reform UK has all but vanished. Anderson, Jenrick, Jenkyns, Kruger and now Braverman helped engineer the Tory collapse, and are now jumping ship to preserve their own careers.

Nobody should be supporting the World Cup in the United States. The English FA needs to speak openly about ICE raids targeting anyone who looks foreign or speaks the wrong language. Football fans travelling to America risk arbitrary detention by armed federal agents.
