Let us not be defined by history as a generation complicit to the injustice of the most vulnerable. Instead, let our generation be known as a generation defined by our act of resistance, subversion, and survival.

Contact your legislators with a simple message - PEPFAR is a humanitarian effort & supports global stability, and must be fully funded & supported. Let them know you are a nurse or healthcare provider & a constituent. #NurseSky

When I was a Hill staffer in 2009, a Dem trifecta was trying to pass universal healthcare. In response, Senate GOP released a memo detailing all of the tactics they in the minority could use to delay the effort as much as possible. I'm recirculating that 2009 GOP memo here. Take inspiration from it.

In my years of reporting on LGBTQ news this was by far the hardest.

But we are still here. You made it to Friday. You lived. Good job. That wasn’t easy.

Through a diversity of tactics, we will continue to live.

Rest up, drink water, find community, so that we can all be here tomorrow too.

We say that people don't notice constitutional regime collapse because it comes on too slowly but I'm not sure how much faster it could be happening; we are literally at concentration camps on day 9.

Let’s not forget that of all the nurses that died from COVID, 21% were Filipino, even though Filipinos only represent 4% of all US nurses. #NurseSky
As we approach the 5th anniversary of the Covid-19 pandemic, I hope people will remember the sacrifices made by Filipino nurses, who make up a large part of the American nursing workforce and suffered huge losses. I wrote this story in 2020 and still think about it. www.statnews.com/2020/04/28/c...
Nursing ranks are filled with Filipino Americans. The pandemic is taking an outsized toll on them
Death notices published in recent weeks starkly show that the #coronavirus pandemic is hitting Filipino American health care workers especially hard.

Facebook reminded me that 4 years ago today, I was told that I should “stop stirring the pot” for questioning the structural racism, sexism, and transmisogyny that exist in society. So now, imma need all your help to decide which one I should use today? ☺️

The medicalization of trans identity presents transgender and gender-diverse people as a population that “needs” an “intervention”, rather than the cisheteronormative system that sustains stigma, oppression, and disparities of care. #MedSky #NurseSky

Let’s work towards a future where everyone has access to the care & support they need to thrive. Let us ensure that HIV is no longer a barrier to equality, but a challenge that we confront together—through compassion, advocacy, and the tireless pursuit of justice for all. #NurseSky #MedSky

Wicked isn't just a musical—it's a political commentary. At its core, it explores the silencing of those who don’t conform and how the majority often stays complicit in maintaining oppressive systems. A powerful reminder that fighting for justice is not just for a few, but a fight for all.
