Good morning BlueSky. This week I'm thankful for the opportunity to make a difference. Words matter, kindness matters, compassion matters.

If your pastor/priest is discussing politics from the pulpit, you're not in church. You're at a rally.

I sometimes feel some internal conflict between offering caustic commentary and expressing love and concern for my neighbors and the marginalized. However, Jesus didn't have this conflict. He spoke with love to the weak and was plainly critical of the Pharisee and unrepentant.
