Not shocked but saddened. Is there a database with a listing of canceled grants? Analysis of the list and the project abstracts would be helpful.
Here's a copy of an NSF grant termination notice that went out today. "NSF is issuing this termination to protect the interests of the government pursuant...on the basis that they no longer effectuate the program goals or agency priorities." Not subject to appeal. #HigherEd #AcademicSky

Follow the money? It wouldn't be the first time that RT has funneled money to conservative activists (e.g., funding conservative influencers).
I put a hold on Ed Martin’s nomination.

He’s denied elections. Fired quality public servants. Attempted to chill free speech.

Turns out he’s also carrying water for the Kremlin.

So wholly unfit to be a U.S. Attorney.

The Trump administration has revoked the visas of five international students on my campus (www.umass.edu/news/article...). Because of the government's secretive administrative approach, these revocations are going to suppress free speech amongst international students and scholars.
