I don’t think ppl understand the whole “who cares if nobody likes it! make content for yourself” is extremely dismissive
Bc we ARE making the content for ourselves but it feels /bad/ when people don’t engage or show interest. You can care about both at the same time

My stint in fencing was very brief bc of physical health and I Was Going Through Something Bad (which also made physical health worse) but sabre was fun
However i know i can punch good and by god that is A Promise. Closes eyes wistfully. I miss smacking people around and getting smacked around.
