The amount of crimes, scams and grift being committed by people in leadership positions at this point in time is staggering. It is dizzying to understand where we're headed. And you know what this will do? Many more will think: if they can do it, why shouldn't I?

The For You feed here in BlueSky seems to be more hardcore than on Tw/X. My feed is literally birds - bird after bird non stop, because I reposted two or three photos.

Really nice blend of realism & 3d in terms of character design and lighting, and also such nice camera work and choreography, from I Am What I Am 2 (?)

I reluctantly find the For You feeds very helpful for discovery on both X and BlueSky. You have to stay on top of 'training' quite hardcore. Stuff you bookmark or like highly influences it. People you have in lists also feed into the For You feed. But I wish it weren't so.

Substack's For You feed is 95% growth hacks and strategies. Its really a shame because they really could take up the void that Twitter/X is increasingly opening up, but its just growth slop really.

Its barbaric. And 7 democrats voted to increase funding for this.
In October, ICE grabbed Maher Tarabishi.

He was a 24/7 caregiver for his disabled son Wael.

At the time of Maher’s detention, disability advocates warned that taking away Wael’s caregiver put his life at risk.

Wael died on Friday at age 30.

ICE caused his death.

They didn’t get to say goodbye.
Disabled son of ICE detainee dies after 30 days of hospitalization
It had been months since Wael Tarabishi seen his father. The family is calling on ICE to release Maher Tarabishi so he may attend his son's funeral.
