This is my 85 year old aunt. She’s had a fall, been taken to hospital, let back out again, and as far as she is concerned she did a bank shift to help the doctor out…..she was a brilliant nurse in her day. Today her #Alzheimer’s hasn’t made me quite so sad @alzheimerssoc

My brain is a dodgy tour guide, taking you to the same sights but adding weird commentary, mispronouncing words and talking to the birds. That’s the beauty of being human, we live in the same world but we each carry a different universe within us. #HappyWednesday #earlyrisersclub

I have just had my mammogram, aka getting your breasts put in a Breville! Check your breasts regularly ladies and go for your breast screening, if it wasn’t for early detection my sister may not be here living her best life #breastscreening #mammogram

When you’re retired you hang around garden centres quite a lot, but only on weekdays, the food is good, the cakes are delicious, the farm shop has lovely fresh food and you buy shit you don’t need, today I bought pic n mix dog biscuits (I don’t own a dog) and more lights! 🌞

This book is riveting and so, so infuriating. It follows 5 families in Atlanta who are struggling to remain housed and paints deeply compassionate portraits of each unit. It reads almost like a novel but is outstanding journalism

Not my best look but I’m pleased to say my fit sister has trained me and I got 106 zone minutes. I was rewarded with an ice lolly and a beautiful sunset, life is good 🌞
