Hello 👋 to everyone who is here for books, craft, art, music and kindness. Hoping to find everyone I used to follow on X and lots of other lovely people over here. I’m more of a quiet lurker than a prolific poster 😊
We knew this day was coming soon but it has still devastated us all. Sherlock crossed the Rainbow Bridge this morning at the grand old age of 13 1/2 years old which is a good innings for a rescue greyhound. Forever grateful for the 12 years he shared with us. 10/11/2011 - 09/07/2025 ❤️🌈😢

Visited the monthly Artisan Sunday Market at my local community forest centre. Treated myself to a beautiful hand carved wooden crochet needle with interchangeable hooks. Also couldn’t resist a hand carved wooden penguin, a lavender sachet and a Purple Passion plant in a gorgeous hummingbird mug.

Rather proud of myself but putting my new bin store together today despite the blister on the palm of my hand. Obviously these hands are too soft for manual labour 🤣

Just caught up with first two episodes of The Assembly. Absolutely bloody brilliant; laughed and cried in equal measure. www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio...

Let’s be clear. He sold $2.4 billion of his stock the day before he announced tariffs. He’s now crashing the stock market deliberately. He will then buy stock when it’s fallen through the floor. All this is is him stiffing everyone to get richer. That’s it.

If you would like to respond to us, we now have a set of tariffs, if you are in the EU, 20 bones, Australia 40 bones, China 25 fortune cookies, everywhere else baseline 10 sardines, and remember you must wear a silly hat when paying us. WAIT WAIT! WHAT???? WE PAY YOU?????

Went to the funeral of a friend I’d only known for 18 months as a woman in her 70s. Learned so much about her incredible life during the eulogy. Made me think about how little we actually know about some of the people who pass through our lives and what amazing stories people have to tell.
