I also don't think the problem is automatically age. I think we could require independent evaluation of mental acuity. Also, rather than term limits eliminate the ability to move quickly into lobbying positions, eliminate stock market investments, etc.

I'm not a fan of term limits, there is a lot of benefits to having experienced legislators in Congress. Take a look at Michigan since term limits - too many start jockeying for their next elected position rather than focusing on their jobs.

Kristi Noem has been a complete and total failure at her job. She has violated her oath and has allowed ICE agents to terrorize our communities.

That’s why I’m joining @robinkelly.house.gov in calling for her impeachment.

We deserve better, she’s gotta go.

Her vehicle's right front panel cleared the ICE agent who didn't open fire until after he was at the side of her vehicle. He used deadly force on a fleeing individual, which is against DHS policy. This is murder. He needs to be arrested.

Trump's illegal attack on Venezuela is fossil fuel politics at their worst. Clinging to oil risks locking us into a world of violence, volatility, and authoritarian bargains. A safer future is a political choice. Tell Congress: Say NO to Trump's new war for oil: act.350.org/letter/jan-2...
Tell Congress: No new war for oil!
Donald Trump just launched a military strike against Venezuela, captured Venezuela President Nicolás Maduro, and declared the U.S. would take control of Venezuela’s vast oil reserves. 2026 must be the...

Yes, daycares should be locked to assure everyone's safety. I certainly wouldn't open my door to masked men, even masked men with badges unless they have a warrant signed by a judge. ICE has created this fear in everyone by their reckless, bullying behavior.

I thought the slogan for RFK Jr’s movement was Make America Healthy Again?

Question: But the president’s statements that he believed the election was rife with fraud—those are statements protected by the First Amendment, correct?

Smith: Absolutely not. If they are made to target a lawful government function and are made with knowing falsity, then no, they are not.

It's the PEOPLE's House, not his personal house, to do with it what he wants while people go without access to healthcare or enough food. Easiest ad for the Dems. Why don't I hear any DC Dems speaking out about this? @slotkin.senate.gov

It's not his personal house! The White House belongs to the PEOPLE! He just gets to use it! He is wasting so many taxpayer dollars on projects to sooth his own ego.
