When your book goes from 87 to 89?

Problematic page gap
when you can cast spells but she can't?

problematic mage gap
When you don’t know how to pronounce the word for the plain porridge or stew you’ve just made?

Problematic pottage gap

Referring to golden-goal situations as "sudden victory" and not "sudden death" is veering into "that friend that's too woke" territory

I don't think the fact that George Carlin was in charge of narrating Thomas The Tank Engine in the United States is discussed enough

I really want to like Frozen Frenzy but the product has just not been good. MLB should steal this for the last day of the season on FS1 or whatever and get good broadcasters in charge of it

Quite easy to enjoy college hockey when your two college hockey teams are rated as the two best teams in college hockey

One of my biggest personal struggles is that I'm too good at NHL '16 to play through the "Easy" season mode but I'm not good enough at NHL '16 to play through the "Normal" season mode. I feel as though I'm being denied the childhood experience of pretending the dynasty Hawks weren't evil

The Tigers are in a home playoff game and the Blackhawks are in their season opener at the same time, so what should I watch? The Big Bang Theory

Had a “lucid” dream for the first time in a while where I saw a map of the CTA Red Line, identified that the line doesn’t stop at Indiana Avenue, thought to myself that I’m dreaming, then “woke up” into another dream. Dreaming still sucks I just wanted to mention that being pedantic was my signal

MY SON, yesterday: I want the Cubs to win.
ME: Not me.
SON: Why?
ME: I'm still mad about them beating us in 2016.
SON: Dad, you can't stay mad at a team forever.
ME: The hell I can't. That's not even close to my oldest grudge.

The answer is no, by the way. Believing in jinxes is anti-science
One of my friends has spent the last week bitching about how his sports teams are bad and aren't going to accomplish anything and then when they do indeed accomplish things he calls it a "reverse jinx" and praises himself for his genius. Should I implement this strategy
