Husband and I decided to do some math fun re: the $100k fine on the Ravens for the Lamar Jackson reporting. Their owner is worth 7.1 billion; the median net worth of an American family is ~$193k The effect of the 100k fine on Bisciotti is the equivalent to a $2.71 fine on that family.

Also: the more I think about it, the more I dislike the idea of YouTubeTV because Google. Digital antenna TV is literally unwatchable…what even is a good option for live TV anymore, short of just “don’t”? Ugh.

We’re switching over to YouTubeTV and cancelling Hulu. I don’t even like Jimmy Kimmel, but his comments were so mild…how can a company the size of Disney kowtow over *that*?

The life of unsigned NFL kickers: prior to being called up, they are always sitting on the couch. Mayyybe if they are feelin frisky, they’re mowing their lawn. There are literally no other activities they are reported as doing.

I am a huge fan of Red Zone and Scott Hanson, and I am so disappointed about the addition of commercials. Im hoping they have it as a banner or side by side, because I know if they cut gameplay, they’ll be cutting shit I want to see

I was in downtown Phoenix for the first time in like 12+ years. I’ve got to give props to the city, they’ve done an incredible job revitalizing the area and making it vibrant and fun. There are so many good restaurants and bars now, light rail takes you all over, it was so cool to see!

It’s stunning watching AZ news now vs when I lived there 10 years ago - it’s truly an embodiment of what is happening all over - 1 or 2 local news segments which are repeated ad nauseum, weather, sports, then the rest all low-effort, low budget segments produced by their parent companies.
