November 22 is the feast day of Philemon and Apphia in the Roman Catholic Church.
We know almost nothing about Apphia, but I can say with some certainty that Philemon and Apphia weren’t husband and wife.
The Eastern Orthodox Church regard Apphia as “Equal to the Apostles.”
