First they hit us with cuts to Federal grant funding. Now they are hitting us by imposing taxes on endowments. What makes America truly great, what has, over centuries, made it a hub of thought and innovation, is what's targeted here. The Senate must stop this -- call your Senator now!
Not getting much attention, except in a recent NYTimes story, is a provision to increase the tax on university endowments and those of other nonprofits.
