The waxwings have been calling on the treetops in my neighbourhood for a few days already, but only today I had the time to go see if I could get a photo 🧡 This is perhaps not technically perfect in terms of sharpness of the birds, but I love how the background repeats the colours on the waxwings.

Näinä aikoina on kyllä vaikea ymmärtää äänestämisen jättämistä väliin. Äänillä voi vaikuttaa, kuten rapakon takaa huomataan. Jokainen vaali on luonto- ja ilmastovaali, mutta myös yhdenvertaisuus- ja arvovaali. Näitä ei voi erottaa toisistaan, vaikka itsekin päätöksessä ympäristöä painotan. #vaalit
Äänestäminen on tärkeä vaikuttaa millainen yhteiskunta meillä on tulevaisuudessa. Jokainen vaali on #ilmastovaali ja #luontovaali. Ennakkoäänestys käynnissä vielä tänään.

Similarly, a number of reasons to reduce feeding in addition to rats such as too picky birds, corvids eating too much, hawks and cats predating, pathogens being spread, worry about messing with nature, municipal or building rules, tits pecking cows' udders, and neighbors shouting over the fence. 6/8

People described a number of reasons to increase feeding such as caring for endangered species, empathy or interest in birds, keeping up traditions, supporting biodiversit or wanting to provide nature connection to children or cats looking behind the window. 5/8
