When humans remodel the planet, even toads get a redesign. Urban Bufo bufo have smaller limbs, possibly moving less to avoid predators (or just potholes). Evolution, or are they just sick of our BS?🐸

This Gophersnake (Pituophis catenifer) put on a fierce display when I found her mid-road in Dundy County, Nebraska—hissing, flattening her head, and vibrating her tail. All bluff, no venom.

Letters went out to federal workers this morning stating they were fired due to poor performance. However, all employees had been rated as “exceptional” performers by their supervisors. Please keep these records and pursue wrongful termination claims. Let the lawsuits begin.
