If the only positive reviews of your established IP game are from folks who a.) haven't played the original, or b.) ask you to not think about the game you named it after and treat it as something new, then maybe you should have made a new IP.

Been doing an almost annual playthrough of Baldur's Gate 2 since around 2004. It still holds up as my favorite CRPG, even with BG3 around.

I don't think there will ever be a company as aptly named as Palantir. Dude named a company after a bunch of (once useful) magical stones that Sauron eventually used to spy on, corrupt and spread misinformation to his enemies and allies.

I don't think there will ever be a company as aptly named as Palantir. Dude named a company after a bunch of (once useful) magical stones that Sauron eventually used to spy on, corrupt and spread misinformation to his enemies and allies.
Just a little over a week left until Bloodlines 2 comes out. I just want the bandaid ripped out so I know if the game came out great or absolutely terrible.

I love how 15 years ago (God I'm old now), I was to lazy to play casters in D&D. Then on my first wizard, our DM set a precedent when he let me use magic missile to blow off individual fingers off of people to "disarm" them.

Kind of buzzed, approaching hammered, so here's a random Filipino fact: Not entirely sure how many of us are here, but there has been a bizarre movement where some of my countrymen want to reinstate Spanish as the national language. There are currently over a dozen regional dialects/languages here.

Had the urge to watch some monologues from Andor. Maarva's, Nemik's, Luthen's and Mon Mothma's specifically. This show had a message, and they weren't afraid to say it. This is what Star Wars was meant to be. Meant to portray. Rebellions are built on hope, and the monologues are so full of it.

Played some 40k RPG with friends last night. Told the story about that time my Space Wolf 2v1'd a pair of daemonettes with a breached helmet, compromised power core and missing heart and won. One of the new players yelled out, "that was you?!" Turns out they've been telling that story to new players

Since Baldur's Gate 3 and Expedition 33 are bringing the CRPG and JRPG genres back to the mainstream, I wonder when we'll get a similar game for RTS games? I sorely miss the days of playing Starcraft, Red Alert 2, Dawn of War, Battle for Middle-Earth, etc. with friends.

Expedition 33 is one of the best JRPG's I've ever played. I'm currently in act 2 and everything from the story, the music, the aesthetic and the gameplay mechanics are just excellent.
It is wild to me that a French dev team set a new bar for the genre.

I've played in so many different TTRPG campaigns, using different systems and different settings. I've had so many cool and funny moments with my friends, and my mind still drifts back to that time I rolled so badly so many times, my inquisitor lost a duel to some random drunk noble at a party.

Elon, the richest man on the planet, couldn't even pay enough people to win a state supreme court seat. Considering that the richest folks are currently batting for MAGA, what makes them think that the dems have enough billionaires to pay for such a massive protest?
Must’ve cost big bucks to pay millions of people in 1,100 cities.
