Who knew the first commercial wristwatch was by Cartier and in 1904? Not long ago, which is ridiculous how many things were invented in the last ~100 years.
My best friend’s father was the president of the most powerful bank in N. America. He only wore a Cartier watch. Maybe that’s why? Provenance.

Between high school/college, I estimate his family spent $740K (private HS, BS, MS) on his education, which is outrageous school costs have inflated to this level for Gen Z & a real crisis as they take billions annually in taxpayer $ for research/tuition/bureaucracy. Next time, don’t name him Luigi.
