Hmm probably worldbuilding and exploring character relationships, especially non-romantic ones (which I still very much enjoy! it’s just that’s such a main focus already). #GauntletChat
I find it hard to focus on writing when I’m stressed, but unfortunately that is just my life right now so trying to find the way that I can still incorporate writing despite my brain wanting to turn to “easier” hobbies #GauntletChat

I’m so excited to get to know my characters! As mentioned in another post, I have my frog and mushroom gods but we also have humans! And they got drama!

So at one point I calculated that I would need 475 crochet hexagons for my blanket but after recalculating with updated hexagon sizes I’m actually looking at 345 hexagons… but I already bought all the yarn

Ahhhh I forgot to share that I finished the first draft of Storm Fall a few days ago!! It clocked in at 106k words but there’s a partial rewrite in there that will be so fun for future Angela to parse out but until then I’m delving into a new project for nano! (and also some fics)

100k words on my draft achieved!! The goal for September is to finish it, and it’s very close so I think that’s doable. And then to throw the draft into a corner and not look at it for months 😅

Been trying to buy some grey yarn off of a website for months but whenever I checked they would be out but TODAY, not only was all the shades I wanted in stock they had a DISCOUNT code. I am now one step closer to my giant hexagonal crochet blanket 🐝
