Doing Product, striding to be a good product leader for products for public good.

I am LOVING the King of the North taking on Naga this morning! The constant baiting for explosive soundbites on BBC Breakfast is tiresome.
@andyburnham.bsky.social - well said on everything

The significance of right wing press being in support of Ukraine in this context cannot be under estimated.
Specifically the Mail/Heil, The ExpreSS and the Tele/Torygraph.
What happened to 'sell Britain to Trump'

'Hug of hope' and 'billions for Kyiv and UK defence'

Newspaper headlines: 'Hug of hope' and 'billions for Kyiv and UK defence'
Many of Sunday's front pages are dominated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to No 10.

don't you just love it when your data devs say 'meh, it's just a bit of ETL, should only take an hour'.

The weekly One Team Gov breakfast is starting back up 🥳

Initially it'll be virtual only, from 0830 to 0930 every Wednesday.

We'll use leancoffeetable.com to facilitate the discussion.

The videoconference will be on Microsoft Teams.

Q: Would you like to run 1 of them, please?

I really need a new early morning news program.
BBC Breakfast is either too soppy or too goading of MPs, I just can't face it anymore.

It doesn't feel quite right to be relieved that the the CDU 'won' with 28% when AfD gained 20%.

Especially as Reform in gaining in the UK, and National Rally gained in France. I feel dirty saying this... but the centre-right needs to get it's shit together in Europe, give people a viable right

Right, Spring you can hurry up now. I'm done with cold.

Just so much to agree with in here.
Particularly points around quality and use of data.

It does feel like exciting times, and for the 1st time since leaving... I wish I was a civil servant again.

Wow #ukgc25, that was quite a GovCamp. I took a lot from today, especially @maltbyps.bsky.social ‘spikey’ discussion, that was a model of respectful listening and learning from others. We needed to be together in the same room, for that to happen. Brilliantly facilitated by @jacattell.bsky.social

Just imagine for a second what this press release might have looked like if the government were aiming for endorsements from eg the TUC and the Joseph Rowntree Foundation.

The UK Digital Gov community, the world even, has lost one of the very best in our field.

Vicky's blog posts have been a guiding light for many trying to navigate designing products that serve our citizens.

To you Vicky, may you rest in peace.
Devastated by the sudden loss and passing of our dear friend Vicky. She was a kind, thoughtful and all round amazing person. So much integrity and sincerity

Thinking of you Vicky ❤️

Why oh why is the Gov not expressing direct outrage at the Musk v UK situation.
David Lammy on BBC seemed really pithy.
