Off to Norton Priory in rainy Runcorn in a bit to ask the apple tree spirits to give us a good crop this year. There will be music, singing, dancing, leaving food for the spirits and a lot of shouting, followed by soup, bread and cider. So, ladies and gentlemen, I say to thee.....Wassail!!!
