A recent historical rabbit hole was prompted by some text on The Burlington Restaurant & Hotel in Desmond Moore's Dublin's Yesterdays from 1994. The Burlington, located at the corner of St. Andrews St & Church Lane was viewed as the best restaurant in Ireland in the late C19.
