Amazing that McDavid chose to resign early instead of at end of year. Oilers up against the cap, w/ awful to mid Goaltending, mid D (yes, they are supposed to play defence, not just a couple slappers from the point) & fwd depth so bad they have to put 2 Generational centers on the same line #oilers

I for one can not wait for a few guys saying the didn't show up, they are disappointed, that change needs to come. And then....have Marner avoid any talk about his own performance. I believe this will make Willy better, Auston is injured, and JT was washed after a long season #mapleleafs #nhl

The Maple Leafs can do the least Leafy thing today and absolutely dominate a GM.7 at home and erase pretty much every negative narrative of the Matthews/Marner era. Or....well....the more likely option
