Birdwatcher usually with a camera. Nature Lover, Cat Lover. All images my own and taken with Panasonic G9 and Panasonic 100-300 lens or digiscoped with Swarovski ATS 80 HD and iPhone 15 (or earlier with iPhone 11) except obviously reposts. No DM’s.
Lapland Bunting Leasowe Wirral this morning, digiscoped. Eventually gave excellent views after being very flighty or skulking.

Saving Wildcats, the conservation programme aimed at restoring Scottish Wildcat to its native Highlands, is searching for new funding sources after losing access to European Union support following Brexit:
Scottish Wildcat reintroduction faces funding challenge after Brexit
The Saving Wildcats project in the Cairngorms has released 46 Scottish Wildcats in recent years, marking a major step towards restoring the species declared functionally extinct. But following Brexit, the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland-led initiative has lost access to EU LIFE Programme funding and is now seeking new backers to continue its vital reintroduction and breeding work in the Highlands.

Good morning welcome to Tippetty tap tap Thursday

Kindness and politeness aren’t overrated, they’re simply not used enough.

A little kindness each day can create a ripple effect, brightening lives in ways we may never fully see.

Just noticed the #hummingbird hashtag attached to my great shearwater photo. The ol' brain obviously wasn't firing on all cylinders when I whipped up this post.

For those who might be confused, this is not a hummingbird. :)

I'll take the opportunity to add the #marinelife hashtag.

(Good grief.)
