Had to take a pic to request service for a leaking Hose Bib at work, but all I can see is No.5 from Short Circuit looking out a hole in the wall.

One night in 1981 your in a night club in Southsea and you meet this bird from Landport… you get married and 45 years later you know she is the craziest mental bitch that could be.. you also know you love her and couldn’t do without her at all.
Pompey shit at its finest .

Saw this on FB Nov 78… first season in the 4th, wasn’t spectacular but kinda steadied the ship. Only other Pompey connection I can see is Goddard for Newport who later broke his leg at Fratton park. It was a very loud crack and could hear it all over the park.

Kirsty MacColls (RIP) late 80s cover of the Kinks and 3 different fun 70s tunes that got a spin.

November 1976, very poor season and even though we just survived and avoided relegation,we went down to the 4th the season after. Look who scored both goals against us and some other Pompey interest scoring elsewhere too.

Just watched the original 1976 “Assault on Precinct 13” in the first time in 40 years. What a bloody good film it is for a lot of low budget names.

Today in 1979 the Legendary 😎 Phil Ashworth made his Debut against Darlington, He scored two decent goals and I thought hello we are onto something here… the rest is history as they say.

Just heard “Emotion” by Samantha Sang.. not really my music then but it did remind me of having left school and well into my Electrician Apprenticeship, and having money to spend.
Buying Clothes, going to nightclubs and more away games with Pompey. It was a carefree happy time.

Released in late 79, Cairo with
“I like Blue Beat” really should have been a hit. Still gets regular spins from me and is great little single.
