Exploring some really fabulous grasslands in Ireland at the moment. Particularly stunned by the abundance of splendidissma and nitrata at some sites! Colemannianus is also pretty abundant as many of the grasslands are on limestone.

A young Wood or Sordid Blewit (Collybia nuda/sordida) at Bushey Norwood, Claverton Down, near #Bath #Somerset #UK. This one was tiny! These mushrooms often appear in rings, but this one was solitary.

The huge plasmodium I started watching the other day can be given a name at last. One fragment of it is already morphing into sporocarps. It's Badhamia utricularis, the most beautiful specimen I have ever found. Kicin, Wielkopolska (western Poland).
