The law doesn't state that only the Speaker of the House can swear in Representative Elects.

Get a federal judge to swear Grijalva in and see if Johnson sues to keep her from signing the Epstein petition or taking her office. Put their opposition on record.

One of the most beautiful sibling relationships you'll ever find in a read.
I’ve noticed something about Daniel Nayeri. With every middle grade novel for kids that he writes he gets a little bit funnier. A little bit faster. And this latest title? It’s a little bit one of the best books of the year. #kidlit 📚👍 afuse8production.slj.com/2025/10/17/r...

Rejection and criticism are part of publishing process, before AND after publication. Work on developing a thick skin early on and you'll not only enjoy the journey more but also increase your chances of longterm success.

Inspiration
a gentle nudge forward
can go a long way to keep
the spark of creativity
Burning.
Protect your words
from the storm
out there.
Tend your own
little fire, knowing
others are glowing
all around
You.

You know what the hero of this book is doing when we first meet him? Kicking over the headstones of complete strangers in the cemetery. I review a STRONG title from @katemessner.com #kidlit 📚👍 afuse8production.slj.com/2025/06/06/r...

Diversity means welcoming & valuing people from all different backgrounds.

Equity means fairness.

Inclusion means not leaving kids out. And providing for those with special needs.

Listen everyone. I’ve see classified stuff before. This in the Atlantic is the kind of stuff that gets the highest classification.

I had to have TS clearance to hear the names of the people we targeted in Iraq when i was with TF16 and 17. And still some names were withheld until op was over….
