Sad to hear of the passing of Danny Thompson. First heard him with Alexis Korner's Blues Incorporated in the 1960s, followed by Pentangle. It was only couple of weeks ago that I listened again to the BBC recordings of his trio with John McLaughlin from 1967.

Just opened my newly arrived copy of Csaba Szabo's "unreliable". Somewhat surprised, therefore, that the 1st sentence in the preface contains the phrase "... the American biostatistician John Ioannidis". Can only hope the rest of the book is more reliable!

Recently there were data shared on Blue Sky on the success rates of either individual clinical trials, or drug development program, not sure which for the top 20 pharma companies. I can't find it can anyone help me with the source. Thanks.
