Never knowingly missed an opportunity to use a drop shadow.
Went to hit Windows-L to lock my computer, missed and hit Windows-; instead, and have now learned something new today ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ

I've not seen a cleaner overhead kick in football than that McTominay goal last night. Used to attempt them as a kid, but never made contact and often ended up with a minor neck injury after folding myself in two.

I visited the V&A in London recently. I took a photo of this scene which seemed so bizarrely out of place and character for such a fine institution, that it's basically an art installation piece of its own.

Gamers: The Steam Cube is amazing, it's basically the hardware of a PC but without being crippled by Windows. No-one's thought of that before!

Oh man, I would buy the hell out of this car if it still existed
The Tokyo Electro Automobile Co. Tama Electric Car from 1947.
It achieved the driving range of 96km and the maximum speed of 35km/h.
And it looks GORGEOUS.
I love it.
If they were still being made, I'd get one.
I wonder if a sheep fits in the back seat.

This is what concerns me most about Gen AI. That one of the biggest companies in the world can put out an AI generated advert full of weirdness and errors without seemingly noticing, or caring. And that people seem to be OK with that. youtu.be/Yy6fByUmPuE?...

This is one thing I absolutely, fundamentally believe in. EVERYONE can draw. How good you are at it, is just a matter of practice.

Sad to hear that Drew Struzan has died. So many stone cold classics in his portfolio. What a legend.

"Your Dad shouts at hotels" is one of the best insults I've heard in a long time. 😂

Finished watching #ClarksonsFarm last night. It struck me that the pub, with its merch shop, massive queues, and chrome tractor, was more theme park than gastropub. He's missed a trick, he should've called it Diddlyland

For all AI's whizzbangery, let's face it, it *doesn't even come close* to this level of detail, charm, and timing

I don't use X since...you know... but my account is still active and I occasionally get spam messages. I find it crazy that even after a couple of years it's still referring to itself as Twitter....well done to the engineer who left in that bit of code just before Elon fired them

Sad to hear about Val Kilmer, his pallid, sweaty performance as Doc Holliday in Tombstone (1993) is the most memorable for me.
