I've not done #caturday in a while. I caught this one trying to chew up my fresh wheatgrass, of course, this stuff is better than his own, as is always the case.

This is crazy, why would anyone do this? The logic behind it sounds off 🤔

I'm still not getting my feed right. I miss stuff all the time from people I followed way back. The mutuals feed actually looks pretty good🤔

I hate to say it, I swear a lot these days, my use of the C word has increased dramatically. I used to reserve it for extreme situations, well, that's every fucking day now, so here we are😶

If you resist taking down your Christmas tree, as i do, this is for you. I'll get there, next month probably, the cats really love it too, is that a good reason? Blurry images are in my future

These guys all have black tail tips and socks, this family have been coming into my garden for 20+ years. I hate that their world is shrinking, places for them to live, and tolerance for their existence is not good. This looks like Mr and Mrs, he's clearly getting an ear bashing #nature #wildlife

I think some people believe that they have to achieve memorable and hugely important things in this life. I missed that bus, for sure. If I can close my eyes on this existence and know that I did no harm/did my best, then IMO, it was a life worth living. 4 am thoughts

I was thinking about woodpeckers for some reason and wondered how they avoid brain damage from hammering solid wood. I assumed their brains were cushioned by fluid in some way. A 2022 study shows things are different than thought. This Audubon article is pretty interesting #birds
New Study Shakes Up Long-held Belief on Woodpecker Hammering
The findings refute the theory that the birds’ skulls act like helmets, absorbing the shock of impact. Instead, they minimize it to strike harder.

The content I'm seeing in my own curated feed has changed, quite dramatically in the last five days. It's probably better, so not sure what's happened technically🤔

A bit of abstract reflection at Canary Wharf this evening. The #WinterLights annual light show there is amazing. This was just a normal reflection though :)
