Flying reminds me how much I love to travel by train instead.

Tip: When they say remove "laptops only" through security, they also mean tablets. That is 20 minutes I will never get back.
This is a photograph taken at early morning, showing a large, modern architectural structure that appears to be an outdoor walkway or terminal at an airport. The most prominent feature is the overhead canopy. It's a series of repeating, arched segments that create a long, tunnel-like effect. The canopy is constructed of a white, latticed framework – think of a very large, open grid of thin, interconnected beams. This framework forms a series of triangular and diamond shapes, creating a complex, repeating pattern. The canopy is translucent, allowing light to pass through, and is illuminated from above, giving it a soft, glowing appearance. Below the canopy is a roadway. We can see several cars driving on this roadway, suggesting it's an area for vehicle traffic. The cars are various colors, including white, black, and red. We can see a portion of a car door or window frame in the lower left corner of the image, suggesting the photo was taken from within a car. The overall impression is one of a modern, functional, and well-lit transportation space. The repeating pattern of the overhead canopy creates a sense of rhythm and depth, while the activity on the roadway and walkways suggests a busy and active location.

A pioneer in early Country Music, Moonshine Kate. Along with her father, Fiddlin' John, they were fantastic musicians and fiddlers but the Depression-era put a stop to their dreams.

I woke up this morning to an alert from the secret underground #weather kids on social media.

They are now predicting 4 to 6" of #snow over Metro #Atlanta and the Northern Counties on Friday. Will it hold true? I dunno but I sure hope so. This Southern transplant misses snow.
