Flying to #RootsTech2025 before dawn.

Flying reminds me how much I love to travel by train instead.

Tip: When they say remove "laptops only" through security, they also mean tablets. That is 20 minutes I will never get back.

A pioneer in early Country Music, Moonshine Kate. Along with her father, Fiddlin' John, they were fantastic musicians and fiddlers but the Depression-era put a stop to their dreams.

“I hope that people can see that no matter what circumstances you’re up against, there’s light at the end of the tunnel, and at some point, addiction is going to make you decide if you’re going to end it or progress, and it’s an everyday battle that you have to deal with for the rest of your life.”
Set in Appalachia amid the opioid epidemic, the film 'Hazard' will premier in Fairmont and other W.Va. cities
FAIRMONT — On the surface, the new film by Appalachian filmmaker Eddie Mensore could easily be dismissed as just another opioid movie set in a state riddled with poverty.

On all social media, a lot of conversations about the #CalifroniaFires vs #WNC #Helene #relief packages.

Let me break it down for you so a 5 year old can understand it:

Both are horrific.
Both deserve our compassion.
Both need our help.

People need to stop dividing #Americans in need.

Randy Seaver taught us this 6 YEARS AGO - so, at least once a year, I think it's important to remind everyone how to search their tree for hints within a single data set. Hints you've accepted won't show up, so it's really useful!

I woke up this morning to an alert from the secret underground #weather kids on social media.

They are now predicting 4 to 6" of #snow over Metro #Atlanta and the Northern Counties on Friday. Will it hold true? I dunno but I sure hope so. This Southern transplant misses snow.

I need advice. I have a 6 year old #Yorkie & babysit my son's #terrier often.

I've been asked to #adopt a very young bonded pair of Yorkie mixes but someone mentioned "Littermate Syndrome".

Has anyone had this situation? #dog #dogsofbluesky #adoptdontshop
