I wrote to the @cbcnews-rss.bsky.social @brodiefenlon.bsky.social weeks ago about the CBC’s tendency to legitimize threats and shared this excellent episode from @originstorypodcast.bsky.social in case their memory of history class was faulty.

Not to be alarmist, but Hannah Arendt thought about and wrote about this in her works about totalitarianism and evil. As a society, we should remember.
100% some of the most disturbing journalism yet coming from the CBC in it’s normalization of threats to international law coming from south of the border.
