And folks were criticized for calling his record-breaking yap sesh performative. Lol whoops.
Cory Booker having his constituents kicked out , with police escort, from his town hall for protesting his genocidal foreign policy, after playing charades for 25 hours in Congress, is really just the least surprising thing of the year so far.
Absolute scumbag.

Remember that Ye is only able to spread his antisemitic hate and love for Hitler because Musk went out of his way to reinstate Ye’s account.

Just as he’s done with countless other neo-Nazis.

It’s easy to point out individual bigots. But those running the system allow them to do succeed.

Americans are FAR TOO VULNERABLE to everything that's happening right now, bc of our very coddled belief that certain things just *can't* happen here, even as we see them dismantled. This is not a fast or easy fix, we're not at the worst part yet, even. Yes, fight back. Engage your lawmakers...

I say this not as a criticism because to Shay's point, everything happening is outside the imaginations of most Americans, which is why some really couldn't fathom the threat. And this isn't doom or fear-mongering but realism: ain't no midterm save. This is a four year fight AT LEAST. Prepare
Whatever is headed our way. It's outside our imaginations because we've never experienced it. Therefore, for many, it's unthinkable. But I'm increasingly convinced if we don't get this train back on track in the coming days/weeks. There will be no midterm save, much less 2028.

Absolutely. Which is why it is CRITICAL right now to get involved politically on the local and state level.

That’s gonna be the key to fighting against these tyrannical autocratic order moving forward.

It is very bleak out here right now, but I wanted to come on here and offer some hope.

The veil is lifting and falling away. Both in the states and globally. People are fighting back. Just because they’re not as loud as these bigots does not mean it’s not happening.

I am simultaneously more existentially scared for us all collectively *and* more hopeful about the fall of MAGA fascism right now.

MAGA spent so much time on culture war during the Biden years, it seemed very likely that making good on those threats would be their opening salvo.
