Yesterday 🍊’s team put out an executive order, demanding the current president be given more power than any president before him ever had.

Today he called himself a king & officially decided to ignore court orders.

A slideshow of my daughter’s art. She was 8 when she drew all of these last summer. I found her notebook while unpacking moving boxes last night.

Autistic mothers in maternity care felt many staff didn’t understand how autistic people communicate & experience pain, & can "feel pain at the same level as non-autistic people—but often show it differently, including having fewer outward signs of pain."

The measles outbreak in Texas is reminding me of the public letter Roald Dahl wrote about losing his daughter to measles in 1962, just before the vaccine was publicly available.

I’ve been writing up a storm, lately. So I splurged on this meteorite pendant from one of my favorite Etsy jewelers — an early Valentine present from me to me. It’s a little nod to my late father, who worked on Project Mercury.

Trump is offering all federal workers a buyout with seven months’ pay to shrink the government—but that’s not the whole story. Reports reveal some employees are being pressured to resign or face termination under the guise of organizational restructuring. In short: take the buyout or be fired.

Since my mother died in 2022, I have been stuck as a writer. I’ve dumped all my energy into being an advocate and lost my voice. Even after attending a workshop with Nancy in late ‘22, I wasn’t ready to heal.

But now I’m home.

And I’m ready.
