AI tools are only accelerating the speed at which SaaS products get to market, so what is the differentiator, all other things being equal? Effective leadership, proactive comms, relationship building... those are things that humans are uniquely suited for, and what will set the best orgs apart.

The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isn’t DEI. It’s white Christian Nationalism.

Happened to catch this movie during the holiday break, and the award is well-deserved! Pretty sure that everyone takes away something slightly different from a movie like this, but there's no denying a skeptical void kitty, an overeager golden lab, and an unbothered capybara. ❤️

Was an Environmental Biology major that ended up in tech leadership. My classes were about watersheds, native California flora, and env conservation. They taught me to see the interconnectedness of systems, whether they be natural systems, computer systems, or systems of people.

Okay tech folks, I want to hear the most disarming question you can ask when you're the interviewee. The one that people have a hard time bullshitting around that tells you about the true values and culture of a team, and not what's written on the marketing website.
