If I was Matt, of all people, I would probably not muse about where kids are gonna be spending their time.

I don’t think anything feels better than finishing an audition. Youngest kid did the vocal magnet school make up audition today after the first was canceled for a power outage. It’s like tension I didn’t even know I had, has left my body. I’ll be here on the couch with the cats if you need me.

ALL full time jobs should pay enough to allow the person to pay rent, bills, and groceries. Why is this controversial? Why are people willing to accept the idea of companies taking 40 hours out of someone’s week and NOT allowing them to live comfortably?

Two days left in this year. 2024 has been a blur of stress. Something has to change next year. I’m starting to think of resolutions that will increase my quality of life. If I’ve learned anything in the last two years it is that it does not matter how much overtime I work, it will never be enough.
