My cats turn one tomorrow; time has flown by.
I never even planned on having them. Their mother showed up towards the end of '23, and was clearly abandoned or stray. I was worried about her surviving the winter, so I wrangled her into my house where she quickly became comfortable.

America is a dictatorship right now, and this is a constitutional crisis.
The Executive is supposed to adhere to the rulings of the Judiciary - they aren’t going to.
The DOJ is supposed to enforce the orders of the Judiciary - they aren’t going to.
Trump has absolute power now.
