Scrooged was released on this date 37 years ago. Directed by Richard Donner and starring Bill Murray as a selfish and cynical TV exec, the film reportedly had a tumultuous production with Murray and Donner clashing over differing visions, but it nevertheless proved commercially successful.

You know what? What can I say other than Toy Story just still sings after 30 years? Because it damn well holds up. Sure, you can tell the CGI was 1995 but it just still works. Every moment just clicks together.
