why is the onus of “saving” this situation put on her when she’s in a crisis. why is there nothing about how /asa/ needs to be saved from the annoying abusive piece of shit that’s dragging denji around. and if she can’t be saved— at the very least understood as not the other half to her!

the one thing still giving me hope for future chapters is that if fujimoto really didn’t care about yoshida, like so many say, he could’ve just killed him off here for shock value. but no, there’s more in store for him (wbk but there was always that small feeling of doubt…)

You know I honestly think Id get some enjoyment from this story direction *if* it were told from Asa’s perspective…cause then it’d just be straight horror without any rose tinting
Also it just feels weird to have a plot that involves Asa this much with her presence almost entirely gone

i just finished rereading part 2 in preparation for what’s coming up… can’t talk about my thoughts right now im too stressed waiting for this chap but overall yea the pacing feels a lot better and everything makes a bit more sense when you read it all together

had a dream last night that the first page of the next csm chapter got leaked… but all i remember is that the first panel was a close-up of yoru’s hand with a hole shot through it, so the bang didn’t work. idk why. i remember feeling SO relieved though and when i woke up i was like shiiiit
