Discussing everything Manchester City, and some analysis from time to time
I actually didn't think the first half was bad at all. City created more than Spurs. Spurs took their chances and City didn't
November 23, 2024 at 6:22 PM
City just need to finish their chances but there's plenty of room for them to create them
November 23, 2024 at 6:05 PM
Really like this. It can be very creative. Akanji or Stones will probably step up into midfield. Rico in midfield, which I love. I am assuming Savinho will be left wing and Bernardo will be right wing, but there's a lot of possibilities. I'm excited
Here’s how City lines up against Spurs—we’ll see you soon at Amity Hall Downtown for the 12:30pm kickoff! #CmonCity

Now that Pep has extended, I think the winter and summer transfer windows need a 17/18 style squad refresh. The team needs to get younger and inject some new faces. Potential names who could go:

Grealish
KDB
Gundogan
Bernardo
Walker
Ederson
Kovacic
Ake
Stones

USMNT looked great last night. Poch has a team that can execute what he wants. They're athletic and can run. I'm excited to see what they can do under him

Big if true
🚨EXCLUSIVE🚨

Manchester City have sent scouts to Los Angeles to view American forward Dillon Meehan, as a potential backup for Erling Haaland.

The 6’ 2” striker fits the mold of an experienced player who is content with limited minutes.

Kevin De Bruyne. A healthy KDB does things that nobody on this earth can do
Rodri aside, if you could give one City player who is currently injured a clean bill of health for the season, who would you pick?
November 18, 2024 at 11:23 PM
I think City found their backup striker
JOSKO GVARDIOL SCORES FOR CROATIA!!!!!! 🤩
November 18, 2024 at 9:20 PM
If West Ham came to City and offered £35m for McAtee, would you take it?
November 17, 2024 at 5:45 PM
A bigger and younger squad would probably be the biggest thing.

Also probably some more ruthlessness to let go of players who have maybe been here too long

Silver linings though to a huge cloud. It will still suck to see Pep go, and I dread the day
Genuinely curious by this. What positives do City fans feel will come about post-Pep?

There are very few positives, obviously, but interested to see what people think.

Bigger squad? More willingness to empower youth / squad members?

I want Pep to stay, please don’t pile on 😂

Watching that fight is like watching United vs. Liverpool. I know exactly what's going to happen and it's not going to be enjoyable, but I'm going to watch it anyways just because I need to see

I agree 100% with this. I think we romanticize his time at City, and it's not as glorious as we remember it to be
Just my opinion but I don't think Leroy Sane ever lived up to the billing he's been given. There were always flashes of brilliance at City, but he always lacked consistency. He showed similar traits at Bayern. Never quite became the player I thought he would.

If Miguel Delaney cares so much about parity then he can go watch the NFL and NBA
So Miguel Delaney’s book State Of Play is basically “if we uninvent capitalism and remove Arab money only from football we’ll have a level playing field again”. Like saying if we uninvent the jet engine and oil we can go back to using a horse and cart to get to work.

City should offer Pogba £50k a week and see if his redemption arc would be the funniest thing possible

It’s time to bring back an old school Twitter classic.

It’s #FollowFriday! It would be great to build a big City community ahead of the return of the Premier League next weekend.

It’s simple. Repost this post and follow everyone who does. Start using the hashtag and follow anyone using it.
