This semester I've noticed that there have been several comparisons between humans (more specifically women) and animals. This story adds to that comparison, especially when it comes to the desire for freedom #bsueng490

#bsueng490 So would we consider her some sort of robot/cyborg that doesn't really conform to gender norms? I mean, we see the "metal" parts taking over her body with the head injury and the pregnancy, but also the not really conforming to a specific gender....

#bsueng490 I honestly like seeing the switch between the dancing at the beginning of the movie and towards the end of the movie, the perception, the reasoning.... interesting transformation

I think this speaks a lot to the fact that women go through so much during a pregnancy, while the man does what..... The husband feels little to no sympathy for the physical and mental toll that the wife is going through #bsueng490

I lowkey don't like when books I enjoy have a pretty lackluster ending. Like, yes, we found out the killer, and yes, Cassie gets her happy ending, but I almost wanted more drama #bsueng490
