A brilliant green-red Perseid #meteor and the Milky Way! This meteor left a visible "smoke" trail that lingered for a few seconds. It was an amazing scene in the skies of rural Illinois with the high clouds adding to the drama!

A brilliant green-red Perseid #meteor and the Milky Way! This meteor left a visible "smoke" trail that lingered for a few seconds. It was an amazing scene in the skies of rural Illinois with the high clouds adding to the drama!
