I'm so, SO tired of having to scrutinize any piece of art that even remotely resembles genAI slop just to determine whether or not it's worth a second thought or any admiration.

what was up with that period on youtube where grown adults who weren’t even artists were critiquing animation memes made by teenagers and telling them they “needed” to do frame by frame animation instead of tweening

This fandom has a reputation for being "suspiciously wealthy" but the truth is most furries just love and value art and people so much that they want to use their money for art and supporting artists so they can make a living doing what they love. It's a cycle of genuine passion I think.

I should probably post my art here more if I make some recent stuff and not too busy with college tbh. Just depends on my mood.

Honestly, the best way to make an artist’s day is by being very specific about what you like about a piece. Geek out a lil. Gush over how they use line, color, texture. Every mark is layed down by the artist, so if you can connect with those little moments, it helps the artist feel seen.
